File your submissions in seven days - Appeals court orders state lawyers

Responding to the court,  senior state attorney, Richard Gyambin  said the delay in filing their submissions was because the state attorney assigned to the case has been out of the country for a while.

Justice Barbara Ackah-Yensu was unhappy about the fact that they had not yet filed its submissions to the court and indicated that further delay after this new deadline will not be tolerated whatsoever. The filing of submission should have been done over a month ago; on Monday May 16, 2016.

Abuga Pele, former chief executive of the Ghana Youth and Entrepreneurial Development Agency and Philip Assibit of Goodwill International Group are in court on allegations of defrauding by false pretences, abatement of crime, dishonesty and intentionally misapplying public funds and willfully causing financial loss to the state.
