Ministry of Health to post over 400 medical officers

These Medical Officers are expected to obtain a recruitment form from any of the appointing Agencies of their choice across the country.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ministry, it stated that they would be posting medical officers who finished their house job in 2015 and 2016 and had also registered with the Medical and Dental Council "with immediate effect".

These doctors would be posted to various health facilities in the country. Out of the total number to be posted Korle-bu Teaching Hospital will receive 38 of them, Tamale Teaching Hospital will have 29 Medical Officers and 20 Medical Officers will be posted to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital amongst other facilities.

440 MEDICAL OFFICERS TO BE POSTED

The Ministry of Health has received Financial Clearance for Four Hundred and Forty (440) Medical Officers who completed house job in 2015 and 2016 and have permanently registered with the Medical and Dental Council.

The 2016 Medical Officers Recruitment quota for the various agencies is as follows;
