He thanked all his well wishers and also expressed his appreciation to the Aberdeenuni Faculty for the honour done him and "Ghanaians all over the globe."
The University of Aberdeen in Scotland last week conferred an honorary degree of Doctors of Laws (LLD) on President Mahama at a convocation which took place at the University’s Kings College.
He was accompanied by his wife, First Lady Lordina Mahama, Foreign Affairs Minister, Hanah Tetteh, Communications Minister, Dr. Omane Boamah, Education Minister, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman and Ghana's High Commissioner to the UK, Victor Smith.
