Chaos in Burundi .

Following the break out of violence after the foiled coup attempt in Burundi, Doctors have said policemen invaded a hospital in the country’s capital, killing patients and searched for men inured in the coup crisis.

A surgeon at the Bumerec hospital in Bujumbura, Dr. Antoine, said the attack on Friday, May 15 also inflicted different degrees of injury on some patients.

“We received three patients and they were here in the emergency room after that moment we see a group of policemen arrive here and they began to shoot everywhere,” Antoine said.

The attack took place on the day the Burundian President, Pierre Nkurunziza, returned to the country, after the attempted coup forced him to stay back in Tanzania where he was attending a summit before the coup.
