Ex-convict busted trying to smuggle weed into prison
The Effiduase District Police commander, ASP Dan Yaro who confirmed the news said the suspect revealed that a prison officer asked him to deliver the weed after paying him an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect, Paul Ashley was arrested by some prison officials following a tip-off, Accra-based Joy FM reports.
The suspect has since been handed over to the police pending further investigations.
