In Kumasi Businessman Shot Dead By Unknown Assailant

A 50-year-old businessman has been found dead in a pool of blood in front of his No 11 TUC residence in Kumasi.

The deceased said to be Alhaji Salifu Alidu was shot at close range on Friday night when He had opened the gate and was about entering his house. Police have ruled-out armed robbery.

According to the Police, a bag full of money and a pistol was found by the deceased at the crime scene. They also suspect it may be a case of contract killing. Investigations have begun.
