British detectives have charged Mire with attempted murder the knife attack at an east London metro station, described by police as a terrorist incident.
The 29-year-old was in the dock at Westminster Magistrates' Court today Monday, December 7, on charges of attempted murder.
One man, 56, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries in the attack at Leytonstone underground station, about six miles (10 km) east of central London, while a second person suffered minor injuries.
