Terrorist group threatens to kill Japanese hostages, demands $200M ransom

The terrorist group has demanded the sum of $200 million in 72 hours in exchange for the lives of Kenji Goto Jogo and Haruna Yukawa.

ISIS has released a new video in which it threatens to kill two Japanese hostages unless a ransom is paid.

The terrorist group has demanded the sum of $200 million in 72 hours in exchange for the lives of Kenji GotoJogo and Haruna Yukawa.

The hostages are shown kneeling in a desert field with a militant in black clothes standing above them with a knife.

The terrorist states in the video that Japan is being punished for donating $100 million to the war against the sect.

“You have proudly donated $100 million to kill our women and children, to destroy the homes of the Muslims. So the life of this Japanese citizen will cost you $100 million,” the militant says.

The Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, who is currently in Israel reacted to the threat saying:

“It is unforgivable and I feel strong resentment. Extremism and Islam are completely different things.”

ISIS has captured and publicly beheaded four foreigners – Americans, James Foley and Steven Sotloff and Brits, David Haines and Alan Henning.
