Islamic State militants claim they have killed a second Japanese captive after a botched hostage exchange involving Jordan.

ISIS released a video on Sunday, February 1, 2015 showing what appeared to be the beheading of Kenji Goto, a freelance journalist captured in Syria last year.

The video shows a masked man ‘Jihadi John’ - the same man in the last six videos, addressing Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, saying he (Abe) made a ‘reckless decision to take part in an unwinnable war’.

Abe had condemned the killings branding ISIS terrorist acts as a ‘cowardly act of terrorism’.
