Anas' video must definitely be screened - Wereko Brobbey

Former Chief Executive Officer of the Volta River Authority (VRA),. Charles -  has said Anas' video incriminating some Judges and Magistrates for perpetrating bribery and corruption in their line of duty should definitely be screened.

Ghanaian statesman and retired Diplomat, Dr. K. B. Asante has already recommended a delayed public viewing of the latest expose, saying that the police must be allowed to take over the case and process the indicted persons before a law court before public viewing can take place.

Speaking on Accra-based Starr FM, Dr. Wereko said: "Anas' video must be screened... Definitely. The question is 'when'? The time of its showing should be that which is agreed by the Judicial Council, Chief Justice and Anas himself", he said.

He however said the process of placing injunctions on the video does not augur well for the country.

Meanwhile, despite an injunction, a source from Tiger Eye P.I has said, the video tagged “Ghana in the Eyes of God” would be shown at the Accra International Conference Centre beginning today and on Wednesday September 23rd at 4pm and 8pm each day.

“There is going to be a showing at 4:00pm and 8:00pm at the International Conference Center auditorium. It is strictly by invitation and we are not selling tickets. To the best of my knowledge we have made all the necessary arrangements at the conference center. All what he is doing is to make sure that he does what satisfies our constitution so for now he is going to show it in a legal way” a source hinted to CitiFMonline.com
