Managers of Movie house Global Cinema’s have insisted that they have done nothing wrong in showing the video on the judicial scandal.

According to them, they have not received any injunction stopping them from doing so.

This was after Global Cinemas showed the video free of charge to the public on Thursday and have promised to do same today.

Speaking On Accra-based to Citi FM, Communications officer of Global Cinemas, Eric Addae said: “We advertised yesterday [Thursday] promising the whole Ghanaian public two free shows of this movie. So yesterday we went ahead and showed it at 4pm and also at 6pm. If we realize that there is more demand for the movie we will also show it tomorrow which is a weekend to afford more people the chance to watch this epic movie.”

Eric Addae further explained that they don’t have any of such restraints against showing the video.

"As at yesterday there was no such action, [so] we went ahead and showed it. Today we are promising our patrons to show it again barring any such injunction, if nothing happens we are going to show it again to our public,” he added.

Justice Dery had sued Accra based TV station, UTV and the Manager of the Accra International Conference Center Kofi Appiah for contempt for showing the video which captured some judges in the country allegedly taking bribes to influence judgement.
