Member of Parliament for the Assin North constituency Kennedy Agyapong according to reports has vowed not to contest his seat again but it is however not clear if he will leave the NPP after his recent attack on the NPP describing the party and its members as “useless, bustards and idiots”.

Kennedy Agyapong according to reports has announced not to contest his parliamentary seat in 2016.

The NPP firebrand unleashed verbal attacks on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for their handling of the Osafo Marfo leaked tape over tribal bigotry.
According to him, there was nothing wrong with what Osafo Marfo was quoted to have said in the tape and that it was wrong for the NPP to disassociate themselves from the comments of their stalwart.
This development in the party may have triggered the outspoken member of the NPP to announce his decision to vacate parliament.

However, Chiefs from Assin Dompin trooped to the house of Mr Kennedy Agyapong to rescind his decision.
