Nana Agyenim subsequently petitioned the Asanteman Council over the matter.

The Council on Monday summoned Kojo Bonsu over the matter but he failed to appear before the Council.

He was however represented by the Regional Minister, Alexander Akon.

It will be recalled that the traders at the Kejetia Market had protested against the Assembly’s decision to relocate them.

Their relocation is meant to pave way for the construction of the Kumasi Central Market.

The traders subsequently requested for an injunction to be placed on the demolition of the Kejetia bus terminal. However, the court dismissed their application.
