The drugs were seized from two chemical stores in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem (KEEA) district when municipal health officers and the FDA were on their routine inspection.
"We seized some expired products from two chemical shops…we had information that they had expired products on their shelves and they were selling to unsuspecting citizens," he said.
"So, we went to the place, did inventory and found out that it was true. So, we seized all the drugs and handed them [owners of the shops] over to the police, he told Accra-based Class FM in an interview.
