The Registrar of Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HEFRA) Dr Sylvia Anie has been asked to step aside for further investigations to be conducted in a suspected financial malfeasance.
This was contained in a letter signed by the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu.

Dr Annie after an audit which was conducted from January 2014 to November 2016, was found guilty of unauthorised possession and use of value books worth over GHC 80, 000. She was also in possession of unauthorised payment vouchers.
She has therefore been asked to step aside for further investigations to be carried out.
