Workers demonstrate against MD

The workers are accusing their Managing Director, Carol Annang, of taking over the work of the newspaper’s Chief Accountant, Chief Procurement Officer, and Chief Auditor.

They also claim that the Managing Director has shown lack of respect towards procurement processes of the corporation in the purchase of a Honda Pilot SUV for herself.

The demonstrators would want to know where Ms Annang had the money to buy that vehicle, considering the company is having some challenges.

They also argue that they have not had any salary increase for about seven years now.

Carol Annang was appointed by former President John Mahama in January 2015 for a four-year term in consonance with the 1992 Constitution.
