According to reports by Kasapa FM, mother of the victim lodged complaint at the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Suhum Municipal Police Command on Tuesday, August 20, 2017.
The suspects gang-defiled the 15-year-old girl at Okorase near Suhum with the Police launching manhunt to arrest them.

The Police has issued medical report form to the victim to attend the Suhum Government Hospital for medical examination and report.
The Suhum Municipal Police Commander, Supt. Joseph Owusu said the Police has launched an investigations into the case, whiles efforts are being made to arrest the suspects.
He pleaded with the community to assist the Police with vital information to arrest the suspects.
He said "We need vital information that would lead to the arrest of the suspects. According to the victim, she can identify the suspects so we want her to help and the community as well."
