Weapons retrieved from chief's palace at Gomoa Fetteh

Other items retrieved from the palace includes six cutlasses, knives, scissors, pickaxe, one carpenter saw and a screw driver.

The weapons retrieved included a G-3 rifle, a pump action gun with six life ammunition, three expended shells of 9mm ammunition, three military camouflage uniforms, and some quantity of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis.

The Chief fled the area when the Anti-Land guards Team stormed his residence in the special operations by the police in parts of the Central Region including Kasoa and its environs which has seen over 100 suspected criminals being arrested.

However, nine persons who are said to be the Chief’s bodyguards and some suspected land guards were arrested.

The suspects are Abusua Panin Kwao Abeka, Stephen Abeka, Isaac Quansah, Isaac Aful, Alfred Sarfo, Mohammed Ibrahim, Obed Nyonyo, Daniel Asamoah and Adam Suraiya.

The self styled chief, named Abore Yamoh is reported to have built a huge mansion in the area in which he harbours the suspected criminals who have been terrorizing innocent residents who go about their legitimate duties.
