Two students arrested over murder of pastor

The deceased has been identified as Ebenezer Ocran, 64, a native of Takoradi in the Western Region.

The suspects, Dojie Kwame, 28, and Akwasi Obo, 21, were picked up last Saturday on a tip-off after they had offered for sale a Toyota Highlander 4×4 vehicle they allegedly took away from the pastor’s residence after the attack.

The spokesperson of the Northern Regional Police Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mr Mohammed Yusif Tanko, said the suspects allegedly attacked and killed the pastor at his residence on Friday, November 10, 2017.

Both suspects are currently assisting the police in investigations.
