The wife, Susana Owusu has been married to the victim for the past 15 years, but the two are said to have recently been engaging in a series of squabbles, a situation which forced the woman to move out of their matrimonial home.

He said he, however, came back from work and realised that the door had been broken by his wife Susana, who claimed that she wanted to feed their two children in the room.

The two were said to have exchanged words in a heated quarrel, which degenerated into a fight.

During the fight, Susana allegedly bit off her husband’s lips and also slashed his neck with a knife when some neighbours attempted to intervene.

The man, Yeboah, was subsequently taken to a nearby clinic for medical attention and he was referred to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The wife, Susana is said to have rushed to the Atuabo District Police Station to file a complaint of assault against her husband and had asked the police to arrest him.

But the Police later realised that she had rather harmed her husband.

The man is hoping to solve the issue amicably with his wife at home but the woman has taken a bottle of liquor to the man’s family, insisting she wants to end the marriage.
