The body of an 8-year-old boy, declared missing at Dzita, was found headless in the Detor lagoon near Anyanui in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region.The boy, Emmanuel Kuna Yali was a pupil of the local basic school.

A police source said two other persons have been reported missing.

The body had been deposited at the Akatsi Hospital morgue while police are investigating the matter.Meanwhile, the parents of the deceased are being interrogated.The Unit Committee Secretary of the area, Mr George Kofi Zoryiku, said the murder of the pupil has made the residents in the area nervous.A police source said two other persons have been reported missing.He said a mentally challenged woman was once attacked but her screams attracted people.
She was found with cuts on her body and later rushed to the hospital for treatment.
