President Nana Akfuo-Addo has "high regard" for Muslims and the Zongo communities, Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has said.

The vice president likened his boss to the uncle of Prophet Mohammad, Abu Talib, who never accepted Islam but was helpful to the Prophet.

"We all know Nana Akufo-Addo, yes he is not a Muslim but he is so helpful to Muslims. When I talked to him about the Zongo Development Fund he said yes let us do it and we have done it.
