Rev. Charles Palmer Buckle, believes Ghana’s progress has stalled because various political stakeholders are only interested in pursuing their personal interest.

The Catholic was quoted by CitiFMOnline.com as having commented on the recent Nayele cocaine scandal that hit the nation, saying : “If 12.5 kilos of cocaine managed to pass through our Airport out of the country then you should be able to  imagine that there are thousands of kilos floating in the country.”.

“Now when you have so much cocaine in the country. The youth are in danger…it means the person [drug baron] has more money than even your government  has and they can manipulate our government …”.

The Nayele cocaine saga rocked the country for weeks after a Ghanaian national was caught in the United States with 12.5 kilos of cocaine.
