Committee Begins Vetting Aspirants

The party has scheduled the youth and women organizers conference for Saturday December 6. Meanwhile the party’s National Delegates Congress has been rescheduled to December 20.

The ruling party, National Democratic Congress is expected to start the vetting process of aspirants for the National Chairmanship position on Tuesday, 2nd December.

The aspirants, incumbent chair Kwabena Adjei, Alhaji Huudu Yaya, Kofi Portuphy as well as Dan Abodakpi will be questioned on their capabilities and whether they can to lead the party. This is a continuation of the national vetting process which started on Sunday, where aspirants for the party's National Women and Youth Organiser positions appeared before the committee.

On Wednesday December 3, vice chairmen (17), Deputy General Secretaries (6), Deputy National organizers (4), Deputy Treasurer (5) and 12 contestants for two deputy propaganda positions will be vetted.

Apart from the youth and women organizers positions vetting which begin at 10am, the remaining categories will start at 2pm on scheduled days.
