Becoming MP will help me show appreciation to people of Tarkwa-Nsuaem-Kwame Dzokoto

He said, even though my activities and days in the entertainment and showbiz was a form of public service, going into politics “will help me provide direct service and support to my people”.

Ace comedian and the popular Eziban television show presenter, Seth Kwame Djokoto has said that his desire to go to the Ghanaian parliament stems out of the fact that he has become a national showbiz icon through the support of the people of Tarkwa Nsuaem and the most appropriate way to show his appreciation to them is to harness his lobbying skills and connections he had acquired over the years to bring development to Tarkwa and its environs.

According to him

The Effiawura and Eziban fame who recently received a Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana CIMG award also indicated that the perception that entertainers cannot fit into the Ghanaian legislature is a misconception as ‘the house’ is made of persons with different expertise and ideologies.

In the meantime, he says the first thing he wishes to do when given the nod is to ensure the brilliant but needy students are assisted to further their education at the University of Mines, while he will lobby for chiefs to release lands for profitable agricultural purposes for the youth as well as lobby for the asphalting of major roads in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency.
