‘I don’t have the luxury of being romantic’ – Hanna Tetteh

The first of four daughters noted that demands from her family and job, of which she is passionate about, makes it difficult for her to be romantic in relationships as they take much of her time and attention.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Hanna Tetteh has said though she would have loved to pay more attention to her relationship, her commitment to job and family would not allow her.

“I am the first of four daughters and my mother who is alive is not too well. So my family and other commitments which I’m passionate about take much of my time and attention. The success of my government, my party and constituency are important to me so I don’t have the luxury of being romantic,” she told Bola Ray on Starr FM’s Starr Chat.

The product of Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast dismissed claims that she is arrogant. According to her, the nature of her job requires that she be tactical on how she handles her relationship.

“I don’t think I’m arrogant. I know I can be abrupt but I won’t say I am deliberately rude to anyone. In politics a lot of people need your attention, some are genuine and others are just seeking your attention to thrive on your influence. But I am not the kind that will allow you to use my influence in that manner so if that is misconstrued as arrogant, then I guess I am”, she noted.
