Nana Akufo Addo and OccupyGhana have pledged to lead the demonstration by the NPP scheduled for February 18.
OccupyGhana has highly endorsed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) demonstration against the current energy crisis.
In a statement, OccupyGhana said, “It is glad to note that concerned Ghanaians are rising up responsibly and demanding action from our leadership.”
The protest dubbed “Wɔn Gbo” demonstration according to the NPP is also to protest against the worsening economic hardship.
According to OccupyGhana “The challenges we are currently experiencing, including but not limited to economic mismanagement, the ever-worsening power crisis and their attendant effects on the cost of doing business in particular and the economy at large, including government’s inability or unwillingness to retrieve wrongfully paid judgment debts, are all attributable to poor leadership and a lack of commitment to good and responsible governance.”
However, Nana Akufo Addo have thrown his weight behind the NPP.
