The head of the Political Science Department at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Dr. RichardAmoako Baah has asked the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to sack its General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong.

According to him, Mr. Agyepong’s continuous stay in office will have a serious toll on the opposition party.
The General Secretary has recently barked at some members of his party who he described as 'evildoers' working to destroy his reputation.
According to Mr. Agyapong, some hidden faces were trying to sow a seed of rancor among the NPP leadership so that the largest opposition political party’s front would break ahead of the next elections.

Mr. Agyapong's rant in the media comes at the back of an emergency steering committee meeting without the knowledge of national chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong.
But Dr. Baah in an interview with TV3 advised the party to immediately sack Mr. Agyepong to better its chances of reclaiming power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
