One of such actions which has sparked a litany of protests on social media is the Ministry of Education’s choice of child actor and Hollywood star, Abraham Attah.

The actor was outdoored as an Ambassador for the policy which will see students who have qualified for the 3-year Senior High School program not pay a single dime in their quest to seek the ‘Golden Fleece’ in education.

By free SHS, in addition to tuition, which is already free, Government will scrap every fee beginning from admission fees, library fees, science centre fees, computer laboratory fees, examination fees and utility fees. There will be free textbooks, free boarding and free meals and day students will get a meal at school for free.

However, Ghanaians are of the view that nominating the Beast of No Nation star as an ambassador is unnecessary and a waste of taxpayers’ money. Others have posited that since the young chap doesn’t school even in Ghana it is just out of place to make him the ambassador for such an initiative.

Below are some of the views of Ghanaian netizens that are trending online.
