George Andah wins Awutu Senya NPP seat

The member of OccupyGhana, George Andah has won the Awutu Senya West seat on the ticket of the NPP.

 

The former Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Ghana, George Andah has won the Awutu Senya West constituency in the Central region after polling 282 votes out of 544 votes cast representing over 50 percent for Andah.

He will face a stiff challenge from incumbent MP Hannah Serwaa Tetteh who doubles as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

Mr. Andah earlier before the primaries said he is ready to serve the constituency and the country.

“I am no angel but I have always been guided by certain values and principles and I believe that … my experience puts me in a good place to serve Ghana. I am with the new Ghanaian who believes that right is right and wrong is wrong irrespective political background you may have or political leader you admire,” he said.
