Former Deputy Minority Chief Whip loses

Benjamin Ayeh polled 115 while Samuel Nsonwa won the majority with 220 votes

Former Deputy Minority Chief Whip and incumbent Member of Parliament for the Upper Denkyira West, Benjamin Kofi Ayeh has been defeated in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary primaries.

He lost to Mr. Samuel Nsonwa Gyan, a teacher. Nsonwa is also the current Presiding Member for the Upper Denkyira West District Assembly in the Central Region.
