Titus Glover has been retained as the parliamentary candidate for Tema East Constituency.

The Member of Parliament polled 329 votes to beat his main challenger Benjamin Annan Ashietey who polled 284 votes to retain his bid to contest in the 2016 elections.

Meanwhile, a former Deputy Minority Chief Whip and incumbent Member of Parliament for the Upper Denkyira West, Benjamin Kofi Ayeh has been defeated in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary primaries.

He lost to Mr. Samuel Nsonwa Gyan, a teacher. Nsonwa is also the current Presiding Member for the Upper Denkyira West District Assembly in the Central Region. Read more

Benjamin Ayeh polled 115 while Samuel Nsonwa won the majority  with 220 votes.
