Black Stars captain does not finance NPP – Minority Leader

His comment comes on the back of accusation by Mugabe, a presenter with Montie FM that Gyan is a financier of NPP.

Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, Minority Leader in Parliament

“I don’t know of any such contribution coming from Asamoah Gyan in 2008, 2012 when I have been keenly involved,” he said on Starr FM’s Starr Chat, Wednesday.

The footballer has also denied the allegation and has asked the radio station to call Mugabe to order.

Meanwhile, a source close to the striker told Pulse.com.gh Gyan was extremely disappointed in the claims.

‘This is just wickedness. We would normally not even respond to these things but this concerted attack by this chap Mugabe has been going on for too long. We felt the time was right to clear the air off these falsehoods’.
