The Electoral Commission (EC) has been ordered by an Accra High court to make available the biometric voter registration records of the parliamentary aspirant for the Korley Klottey Constituency, Zanetor Rawlings.

The EC has also been ordered to provide a copy of the voter registration identification guarantee form and copies of the registration team detailed on Form 2A.

This follows a petition by some constituency executives seeking the the court to annul the results of Zanetor Rawlings.
The order, directed at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the EC as first and second respondents, among other things to provide the court on whether or not Dr. Zaneter who is the third defendant is a registered voter.

Four members of the NDC from Osu and Asylum Down in Accra petitioned the party demanding the disqualification of Zanetor Rawlings as the Parliamentary candidate for the Korley Klottey constituency saying they are convinced her name is not on the voters’ register of the Electoral Commission.
According to the petitioners, "We are of the firm belief that the afore-mentioned person should have been disqualified from contesting the primaries because she was not a registered voter.
Lawyers for the plaintiffs, Joseph Narku Botchway and three others filed the suit praying the court to compel the EC to furnish it with the final voter register showing the name of Zanetor.
The law firm Safo & Marfo wants to know:

"1. Whether or not Dr. Ezanator (Zanetor) Rawlings is a registered voter within the meaning of Article 94 (1)(a) of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana.”
"2. If so when was her name entered into the electoral register?"
The law firm is also seeking the EC to provide information on when her (Zanetor's) name was entered on the National Biometric Voter Register; the name of the registration officer; date of registration; the time at which the name was entered on the roll as shown on the printout; the registration centre name and code.
The law firm also wants a certified true copy of the voter’s register.
