EC was partial to Nana Addo - PPP

The PPP say the EC cleared the 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) even though he did not fulfil all the requirements in his nomination forms as demanded by the EC.

Policy Adviser of the party, Kofi Asamoah Siaw made this accusation at a press conference at the party headquarters in Accra.

Siaw accused Nana Addo of falsification

With two days to the deadline for the submission of nomination forms, the EC released a statement asking presidential and parliamentary nominees to declare their assets with the Auditor General or forfeit their candidature.

Only the Flagbearer of the PPP, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, came out publicly to confirm the declaration of his assets to the Auditor General.

Meanwhile, the NPP fiercely kicked against it, saying it was unconstitutional.

Dr Nduom is one of the thirteen presidential nominees who was disqualified by the EC for various anomalies in their nomination forms.
