It's time for the 'Mahamas' - Edward Mahama

He said he had already been ordained by God to lead the country to economic independence and progress.

“In 1996 you gave it to JJ Rawlings, 2000 you gave it to Kufuor. I’m the one of that class waiting to be made president in this time. The Johns have run their race. Jerry John Rawlings gave to John Agyekum Kufuor. John Agyekum Kufuor gave to John Atta Mills. John Atta Mills gave to John Mahama. The Johns have run their race; their time is over. It’s now the time of the Mahamas. So NDC Mahama goes, PNC Mahama comes. God has ordained this already,” he said.
