Ignore list of new 'appointments' on social media - Govt

A press release from the Flagstaff House said all official statements are usually issued via their email or Facebook page.

 

Government has described as false a new list of ministerial nominees circulating on social media.

Reports on various social media platforms indicate that Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hanna Tetteh has been reshuffled to the Ministry of Gender and Social Protection.

It also suggested that Deputy Minister of Power, John Jinapor had been made the substantive minister whiles Minister of Finance Seth Terkper has been sacked and replaced with Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Minister of Trade and Industry.

Government in a press statement said "The Office of the President has issued no such statement."
