Nana Addo promises to tackle Klikor water problem

Klikor is in the Ketu South District of the Volta Region, and has experienced perennial water shortage over the years.

Nana Addo made the promise as part of his four day tour of the region to fix the party's broken relationship with Voltarians.

He is the first leader of the NPP to admit the fractured relationship.

"I know there are special problems that you have; access to water. The institutions that deliver water, the Ghana Water Company and the Community and Water Sanitation team will be strengthened so that water delivery will be an easier and satisfactory thing,” Nana Addo said.

He also promised to fix the road leading to the Klikor Chief's palace.

“I have been told one of your personal wishes is that the road to your palace should be tarred in the event that we win. Let me make a small promise to you, God-willing that will happen,” he added.

Nana Addo noted on his tour that he intends to prosecute a developmental agenda that is encompassing without discrimination when he wins the November polls.

He skewered the NDC’s management of the economy while addressing the Awomefia. He noted that the country is in difficult times and for the npp to salvage what is left with the economy, he will need the support of Voltarians.

“These are not good times for Ghana and I don’t believe there is any honest person who can state that these are good times in Ghana. They are not good times in Ghana. We can build a better time for ourselves in Ghana, and we can build a stronger and more prosperous nation. I believe from the very bottom of my soul that it is possible,” he said.

“we have the leadership, the men and women if given the opportunity, who can make Ghana prosperous and fulfil the dreams of our ancestors who began the struggle for the freedom of our country. For that to happen, the NPP needs the full and active support of the people of this important region.”
