The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sacked two administrative officials for selling presidential nomination forms to George Boateng.

NDC sacks two officials for selling forms to Mahama’s contender
According to the NDC, it is only the party’s general secretary who has the mandate to issue the presidential forms to a presidential aspirant.

Fred Agbenyo, Communications Director of the NDC speaking on Accra based Radio Gold said the two have been asked to step aside for selling the forms to Mr Boateng illegally.
The former Oyarifa Branch Youth Organizer of the party has acquired presidential forms to contest President John Mahama in the upcoming parliamentary and presidential primaries slated for November 7.

Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho earlier today on Starr FM said although the party is ready for a challenge in its presidential primaries, anyone who acquires a form must go through the right procedure.
“Whoever gave him the form did not go through the right procedure and so there might have been some lapse somewhere but if he doesn’t have the seal that he should have then it means he doesn’t have what he should have legitimately. As I speak to you now I know some administrative decisions have been taken and two of our administrative personnel who did not actually follow our laid down procedure are currently having questions to answer,” Anyidoho said on Morning Starr.
“It is the general secretary who sells the presidential forms and so if they are being punished, they are being punished because they did not follow laid down procedure,” he added.

Meanwhile, President Mahama is expected to pick his nomination forms today at the party's headquarters.
