The motion filed by lawyers for Zanetor Rawlings indicated that the plaintiffs suit were premature and moot. And also added that the plaintiffs lacked the capacity to bring the suit before the court.

The incumbent member of parliament for the Klottey Korley constituency and another failed aspirant Nii John Coleman who also contested the National Democratic Congress’(NDC) constituency primaries and lost the election filed the suit challenging the eligibility of Zanetor Rawlings describing it as unlawful since she is not a registered voter.
