Ghanaians have no alternative to Mahama - Kofi Adams

According to him, Ghana under the John Mahama-led government has enjoyed infrastructural development and the electorate must therefore give him a second opportunity in the upcoming polls.

“The good works that we (NDC) have done in the past few years in the region show that the region is swinging in favour of the NDC very seriously. If you travel around the country, you will bear witness to the level of development projects undertaken in the country. It is as if when you take away the NDC, no other party has been in power,” Mr. Adams, who doubles as the national organiser of the party said at the 2016 Manifesto launch of the party in Sunyani, Brong Ahafo on Saturday.

He added: “Today is manifesto day, but we will come to every constituency to interact with you. Make sure that the contents of the manifesto and Accounting to the People book get to every household, do a door-to-door, room-to-room campaign. My brothers, there is no alternative to President John Dramani Mahama.”

Meanwhile, the Minister of Transport, Fifi Kwetey, has said the NPP’s main focus over the years is to talk and not act on its various promises.

According to him, the NPP during its eight-year tenure scored zero points in all developmental projects it claims to have began.

“There are houses in all major regions. How many houses did NPP build – zero. Not one single room was completed in the eight years of the NPP.”

He said the NDC had less money but because “We [NDC] are people committed to development and to transforming the lives of the people, we perform better than them.”
