Two contest Fiifi Kwetey in Ketu South primary

Two persons, Famous Kuadugah and Sylvanus Yao Amedorme are contesting against incumbent MP, Fiifi Kwetey.

About 32,637 registered members of the National Democratic Congress are expected to vote in 70 centres in the Ketu South constituency today.

The primary was put on hold last month, following a suit filed against the party by a disqualified aspirant, Jim Morti.

According to Jim  Morti,  his disqualification from the NDC parliamentary primaries is unjustified as he met all the condition in the party’s guidelines for the election.

According to him during the the vetting an issue about a sale of a rented car involving came up.

He said he provided all the documentation to support his defense but the party referred the mater to the National Executive Committee for redress.

But an Accra High Court dismissed the suit by Jim Morti.
