NPP lacks a consistent campaign message – Mike Ampong

“We don’t seem to have a very well thought out campaign message. We dwell on happenings,” he said.

According to him, the party only capitalizes on unfortunate happenings in the country by couching its message around it.

“Sincerely speaking, I have always had a problem with the type of messages my party is taking into the election,” he said during a panel discussion on Radio Gold.

Listing some instances, Mr. Ampong said: “A few months ago, it was the Suhum-Nsawam road and then the Adomi Bridge…now the bridge is fixed so what are you going to tell the people of the Volta region again? The last time it was dumsor. Now it is high billing system…so if the billing system is also solved, what will we move to?”

He stressed that there is the need for the party to have a scientific-based campaign by undertaking a detailed analysis to find out “the missing links otherwise, our campaign messages will keep changing.”

“What about our free SHS?” he asked.
