Miss Ghana 1991 Brigitte Dzogbenuku was presented to party delegates today at the party headquarters in Accra Thursday, August 4, 2016.

This is the second time Dr Nduom is choosing a female running mate for an election.

Here are 11 things you need to know about Brigitte Dzogbenuku

1.    She attended Wesley Girls Senior High School for her secondary education. She belongs to the class of 1986

2.    She worked with Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited as Liaison Officer on the Geita Project in Tanzania at the Dar-Es-Salaam office for two and half years.

3.    She also worked with SC Johnson Wax as Brands Manager.

4.    Dzogbenuku runs her own public relations and events management company known as Protocol Ventures.

5.    She also owns another private company that does business with the Barclays clubhouse in Accra.

6.    She is founder and Executive Director of a non-governmental organisation; Mentoring Women Ghana (MWG).

7.    She was the General Manger of Aviation Social Centre in Accra. This position also helped her to establish a Recreational Facilities. Management Company, which manages various leisure, fitness and sports facilities in the capital.

8.    She is a Board Member of Enactus Ghana.

9.    She is a columnist for the Ghanaian Weekly, The Mirror Newspaper. Her column is titled ‘Manners Matter’.

10.    She was heavily criticised when she partook in the Occupy Flagstaff Demonstration, organised by pressure group Occupy Ghana on July 1, 2014.
