The Minister of Communications Edward Omane Boamah has told voters in the New Juaben North and South constituencies to vote out their respective MPs since they have no record to show for.

The two seats were won in the last general elections by the New Patriotic Patriotic Party candidates.

The minister, who also doubles as president John Mahama's spokesperson, urged voters to vote for the National Democratic Congress candidates and the president to enable them to benefit from the infrastructure projects of the government.

He said the NDC over the last eights has carried out more development in the two constituencies, which is located in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, than the NPP.

He chronicled the Mahama administration's investment in schools, health and roads to make a case for the NDC.

He made these comments during the campaign launch of the party's candidate for the New Juaben North Constituency, Haruna Appaw on Saturday.

Omane Boamah also assured voters of massive developmental projects if they vote to retain the NDC in the 2016 election.

The Eastern Regional Minister, Mavis Ama Frimpong, on her part, said before the onset of the NDC administration, roads in the region were in a deplorable state. According to her, the government has constructed more roads in the region in a bid to improve the road network.

She, therefore, beseeched voters to retain the NDC based on the party's record which she said is unmatched.
