Six children who wowed Ghana with their talent

But the youngest DJ in Ghana is not the only child who has immense talent.

Pulse.com.gh has come up with a list of six others.

Abraham Attah

The 15-year-old shot to prominence after being cast in the ‘Beasts of No Nation’ movie alongside celebrated Hollywood actor, Idris Elba.

The movie has since won several awards both in Ghana and Europe. The young talent has also won several awards following his achievements in his acting career. Attah has already picked up the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at Venice Film Festival 2015, and the “Rising Star Award” at the Black Film Critics Circle this past awards season. He also won the Independent Spirit Award for “Best Male Lead” for his breakout performance as a child soldier in ‘Beasts of No Nation’. The 15-year-old in February 2016 presented an award at the Oscars and has a role in the new Spiderman movie.

Tutulapato

The 11-year-old came into the limelight as the youngest rapper in Ghana in 2012 when he first appeared on Kasahare Level.

His way of weaving matured and fascinating words into rap, as well as, his eloquence in the Fante language won him the hearts of many Ghanaians.

His fame, however, grew bigger after he won the 2013 edition of Talented Kids. He subsequently recorded hit tracks like ‘New King’ featuring Pope Skinny and ‘Woei Soome’ featuring Kwaw Kese.

Lily Ama Tugbah

For a child who could not lift her head at church to read Bible verses, Lily beat out more than 190 kids to become the best speller in the country during the Ghana spelling Bee competition.

Lily is in the U.S. to represent Ghana and the entire African continent in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Awal

The young talented rapper mesmerized audience and viewers of TV 3’s Talented Kids with his dazzling quick style of rapping which is likened to his mentor rapper Sarkodie. The 2nd runner up of the first edition of talented kids recently dropped a new banger called Baboona.

Rodney Appiah

The son of Ghana’s former Black Stars captain is in line to be one of the greatest footballers ever to emerge from the African Continent. He was recently named best player at a just ended private schools football tournament in Accra.

Many have concluded that Rodney will emulate the football greatness of his father following his sultry skills and accurate passes.

Maame Serwaa

Kumawood child actress Clara Benson well known as Maame Serwaa has won many hearts with her acting prowess.

She has featured in several award-winning movies including ‘Who Killed Maame Serwaa’, ‘Maame Serwaa In Love’, and so on.

The SHS student has also starred alongside celebrated personalities like Agya Koo, Kwadwo Nkansah LiWin, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Vivian Jill, Rose Mensah aka Kyeiwaa, Mercy Asiedu, Kwaku Manu, Bill Asamoah and others.
