Rev. Hayley Young says she is shocked by the love shown to her by her congregation since she told them she is HIV positive.

The 28 year old minister, Rev. Hayley Young, in an interview with Huffington Post, said she contracted HIV during an attack.

She is a minister in Hayling Island Baptist Church.

She said she was scared to tell members of her congregation that she had HIV, so she decided to record a Youtube video instead.

In the interview she said "I decided to tell the church that I was HIV positive because I tell people every day to be proud of who they are and that God loves them just the way they are - so I had to practise what I preached."
