Upper East Regional minister orders arrest of Adams Mahama’s brother
Mr Bukari said he caused his arrest because of the constant insults and abusive words he directs at him anytime he sees him in public.

According to the minister, he has reported the issue to Nuhu Mahama’s family for redress but it appears nothing has changed.
He told Accra-based Citi FM that Nuhu Mahama accosted him at a funeral grounds and threatened to beat him but for the intervention of some family members.
“So considering the situation and the threats and insults rained on me by Mr. Nuhu Mahama, I had to call on the police for his arrest and interrogation on why he did what he did. So he was arrested and detained for several hours but was granted bail,” Mr. Rockson said.

Mr Mahama is accusing the minister of using his office to seek revenge against him as well as abusing him when he went to the minister’s office to present his contract certificates.
Mr Rockson has denied the allegation.
He explained that “When Nuhu brought his contract certificate to my office I signed them for him but I still don’t know what he has against me and cannot trash them out with me. Even if Nuhu cannot confront me, we are one family and our elders are there to listen and resolve any problem he has with me.”
