Sad News Thunder kills prophetess at Assin Fosu

The woman, popularly known as Prophetess Amanda, was packing her wares into her provision shop when the tragic incident happened.

The spiritual leader of the International Christian Bible Church, Prophetess Ewura Esi Amanda was on Sunday struck dead by thunder in front of her house during a heavy downpour in the Assin Fosu township in the Central Region.

The woman, popularly known as Prophetess Amanda, was packing her wares into her provision shop when the tragic incident happened, Accra-based Kasapa FM reports.

Prophetess Amanda was taken to the St. Francis Xavier Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Her body has since being deposited at the hospital morgue.

Residents, who are still in the state of mourning, have described the late prophetess as very caring and one who often provides counsel for the youth in the area.

The woman of God, who is in her late 30’s is survived by three children.
