Four persons are currently battling for their lives after armed robbers attacked their homes at Amanfrom, American Farm in the Ga South Municipality.

The robbers who were operating in groups robbed many households and shot the four victims after physically torturing them.

The armed robbers spent almost three hours robbing the victims between the hours of 1 and 3:30 am this morning.

Speaking to Citi News, one of the victims who gave her name as Sarah said they were asleep when they heard series of gunshots in the area.

According to her, the robbers took away their monies, mobile phones, laptops, television set and clothing.

“We couldn’t do much and although we did not resist their attempts to steal from us, they beat some of my brothers and sisters. They robbed almost all our neighbours. They were so many that there wasn’t much we could do,” she said.

Another victim also told Citi News her brother was shot in the face by one of the robbers after they had robbed them of their monies.

“My brother was shot in the face and we have rushed him to the hospital. I understand more than twenty homes were robbed because they were many in plenty groups,” she recounted.

The Police reportedly arrived at the scene of the incident after they robbers had bolted with the stolen items.

This is not the first time residents of Amanfrom American Farm have been attacked by armed robbers.

The community has been under constant attacks by armed robbers over the months.

The Chief of Amanfrom Nii Gborlor IV in an interview with Citi News some weeks ago complained about the robbery attacks in the area.
